Hello all! I'm going to be building a new system soon, and I was wondering, if a mobo has a DDR standard of PC3200, will any other speed run worse, even if it is with RAM faster than PC3200? (PC3500 and so on.)
Thanks for any help!

no, it will rub the same or fast unless its slower ram like 2700. High ram speed allows high cpu overclocks
yeah, higher is never bad. It will run worse if you run 2700 or less though. Even if you're not overlocking the advantage of faster ram is lower latencies say it's rated at pc3500 it will run lower latencies at pc3200 (stock speeds) so it will run even better... even if you don't notice I never really have noticed much with latency changes, but I do notice HUGE differences with dual channel vs single channel
