Hey Tech-Daddy, nice to see you here. Lol. These pics look great, I hadn't seen the velvet before.

does the velvet increase the internal case temperature at all? If so is it a big difference
why would it increase the temps? does ure sheets increase the temp of ure bed?
My goodness! Where are my manors!
Apologies for hte delayed responses!
AlkalineOmen - Thank you! My complete worklog is here.....
redhalo - Yeah, if you read the log... you'll see what I "almost put in there! Scared a person or two (but it was mostly a joke... mostly!)
emochild626 - No, as long as the airflow is good, I've had no issues. One thing that *did* happen, is that my inverter for my UV CCFL's blew a capacitor. Now, the Inverter is actually located below the material, so I dont know if it overheated, or what... but the ceramic cap that was right by the power connector scorched the board and bowed the plastic around it with heat warping! Dodged a bullet there...
Thanks for all of the comments! Apologies for the delay in responding. My mind is not what it used to be!
Oh yeah, for any of you subscribers... check out June's MaximumPC Rig of the Month!

no, but it insulates the temerature of your body, which increases the temp of your bed.Originally Posted by Frakk
exactly. as long as there is no heatsource under it it will not have any impact. as he said, the inverter was under it without any ventillation and it most likely overheated, however it wont have any affect on the compnents because its in the bottom and there is a decent airflow around the case.Originally Posted by emochild626
Could have been heat... could have been component failure... after mine blew, a few of the modders there told me stories of others that won't use CCFL's any more due to the inverters posibly going up in flames....
Yeah.... that gave me a nice, warm/fuzzy moment...
got my MaximumPC today, good job!
