Default Trying to remember an old game...

I remember playing this on our old 3.1 AST machine.

It was some sort of flight game. There were pyramids in a few levels. I think it involved some sort of alien invasion. It was an early 3d game. Don't remember name or publisher.

I'll post more nostalgic details as they come.

My buddy had an AST, and I remember playing that game. No idea what the name was. If I remember it, I'll certainly give you a shout.

Lemme get back to you in a few minutes.

If you see a pile of drool below this post, you know it was it 100%.

    Here I come, DosBox.

Never played it in audio, after I accidentally deleted the sound card drivers.

    Nostalgia has officially set in.

There was a AST game of The Last Starfighter too. I loved that one.

Starglider 2 seems to be most like it.

The UI seems to have been a little different, though.

What's even worse, is I don't know the controls!

I just remembered, I have an old "AST HDD Restore" floppy that is coming up as "not formatted".

    Even worse..... Agony.....

How old is that floppy? Probably has a bad case of bit rot by now. It's been 20 years since I last poked at an AST.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AST_Research

An old computer company. Made dang good computers, for its time, though.

Floppy is probably de-magged by now, though.
