    Default Well, this SUCKS....

I managed to get a power supply to power my 6850.

    This is what I find:

Took it to my IT teacher for testing. Exact same results and display, despite me having a VGA connection, and him using a DVI.

    What can I do????

    1) RMA. Try that until it's a total failure.
    2) Oven trick.
    3) . . . talk to someone else. I'm out of advice.

Kayin recommended the oven trick to me.

And it's over a year old, no warranty.

But hey, I now have a Core 2 Quad 2.4 computer out of the deal.

As for the "connectivity" errors on the first pic, it may have been I didn't hook up Ethernet properly.

*Wait a second; that's EXACTLY what was happening to my iMac G5!
(too bad I trashed up the motherboard )

OK, I have a q6600 that came from the computer I got the PSU from.

Should I keep the case and mobo, or upgrade to a DDR3 board?
My biggest concern is, the tower is a Gateway BTX.

So, it seems that it can handle only one VGA output at a time....
    WHY?!?

So, do I need an active DP adapter, or just a passive?

Card is stripped, waiting for oven to be finished being used.

*But first, I'm going to try having onboard run the 2nd monitor, and having the GPU run the main.
