Nerds Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, cept a gamer and mouse.
The n00bs where fragged with nades and care, and kill streaks abounded across the landscape there.
The children headed down to bed, with visions of skyrim dancing in their heads.
The wife and I settled for a netflix night, and all that was wrong in the world was right.
We had just settled down when a sound from the roku,
made us miss the streaming of goku.
Away to the modem i flew like a flash, pulled out the power and cleared the cache.
Our hearts had stopped, all in fear, for without the internet, how would we enjoy our holiday cheer?
Then in a moment we noticed a flashing, in our haste the problem had been passing.
I reached through the mess and fished out a cable, then all of a sudden the internet was stable!
The internet was back, the cloud online, with steam and origin all alive!
The gaming and streaming that comes with cheer, could be enjoyed with a cool Christmas beer, and everyone in the family settled in with cheer.
The modem blinked and twinkled all night, its purpose fufilled, its future bright.
Then in binary, a message blinked from a light,
Happy Christmas to all, and to All a good night!
