Default Dennis Ritchie - The father of C

Yep, Dennis Ritchie passed this last Saturday. For those who don't know, he is one of the most, if not THE most influential person of this technological era. Period.

He created C back in 1973 and from there, almost every modern computer language has emerged. Without him there is would be no such thing has Unix or even the modern operating system. He deserves more credit then anyone else I can think of for his contributions to this computer world we live in. This is a guy that belongs in the computing all of fame right next to Turing. Thanks for everything Dennis!

Yea, sad isn't it. Not diminishing what either has contributed over their lifetimes, but it is indeed sad that this man was not given the public credit he so rightly deserves.
