    Default Pci Fan

Hey guys and gals I went and picked up the itx carputer from the house that is now a storage place pretty much this weekend and remembered that I need a slimline fan to put on the heatsink. If someone had a fan something like this

that I could take the bracket off of and attach it to the heat sink and would be so kind to let me know that would be awesome.

Yeah I need something slimline that I can lay on top of the heatsink because this is in a mini itx case and there is not enough air movement over the heat sink and not enough clearance for a regular fan.

when i was building my car pc, i ended up getting a nice low profile all copper north bridge heatsink and then attaching a 40mm x 15mm fan to it.

i was running a mini-itx board with a dual core atom processor.

now that i think about it, that was actually on the northbridge of the intel board. but i also used a northbridge heatsink on my evil red htpc for the e-350 processor.

Here is the board I am working with

Though a bit more than a fan this may be a viable solution
