Changing Fan LEDs

Any resistors are typically on the board so it's just wire and LEDs. You wouldn't need to add any resistors, just solder in the new LEDs and you'll be fine

ouch, i missed this one being sucked into school, but yes, just snip off the old led's, check the polarity solder the new ones on. I used this in a HAF 932 so the guy could keep the push button on/off for the fan and have blue leds

FYI: wiring an LED backwards will not hurt it, it just will not light. Just get the forward voltage and current specifications for the new LEDs and go punch their values into an online LED resistor calculator. If you're running on 12v, chain 3-4 LEDs together in series and add the resistor to sink the remaining voltage. For 5v, you'll get 1-2 in series with a resistor.
