I figured it was something complicated but after reading your explanation I honestly never would have thought of that. It turned out really well. Looks cool!

wow , thanks for all the feedback you guys , this is pretty easy to do , but hard to replicate , if that makes sense.

im using a couple different types of paint the black is spray paint( rattle can:sprayed into a shot glass and poured in drops , ghetto , but whatevs it works ) and the green is testors enamel paint. both react very differently and require their own technique. most people have said to use borax in your water mixture , but ive had better results using just water at about 75-80* degrees.

here are some more "practice dips on deadbox360

the one in the fore ground one didnt have enough paint to cover the whole box , but , ill keep that in mind for a "fade"

this is one i did for my brother , clear coated and ready to go

ive been asked to do a couple more boxes (and an explorer!! , the guitar , not the truck) so i would like to film a tutorial if i can get a couple extra hands (or a tripod) . any ways hope you guys like my paint jobs as much as i do ,

also how do i edit the thread name?i cant figure it out for the life of me

Very nice! I look forward to your video. I am in search of a big container to do this to my 360.

WOW! The last pics are really fantastic. I really like the finished result on there. That really looks cool. This makes me want to try this on my 360. Although I'd have to go red Would be just my luck that it would spite me an RROD if i did that.

pretty nice looking, how is the texture, did it stay sticky at all? or did you use a nice coat to seal it in and smooth i tout
