s775 does do DDR3, it's just finding a DDR3 motherboard. At which point there's no point in not just going AM3 or SB.

It was probably an old review. When ddr2 came out ddr was still superior for quite some time. The same thing happened with ddr3 vs ddr2. The newest ddr3 is now higher performance. It just took a while to get lower timings on the higher frequency memory. ddr4 should be out shortly, but don't flock to it right away! History repeats itself.
I'll procrastinate tomorrow.
And here I am, stuck with DDR1 mem.
Not quite as much as I want.
Is there a 478 board with DDRIII???????
