Every spammer we catch is permanently banned by IP and then their account is deleted.

Good article. I think you went a bit overboard on the hardware requirements, but hey, that's what we do, neh?
If you want Netflix on your Linux HTPC, one option that I ran across a while ago is PlayOn. It looks like it's changed quite a bit since I last used it, but basically it takes content from a bunch of different sites and rebroadcasts them on your network as ...crap, I cannot for the life of me remember the term...anyways, as an open protocol stream that a bunch of devices can view and control. It shows up in XMBC as another 'channel' for each of the sources that it pulls form (listed on their website). When I used it last, it would only let you view the stuff in your Netflix queue, but you can set that from Linux anyways.
Of course, there's no official Linux Blu-ray playback, so that's another consideration. But, just so people know they have options.

+1 to x88x's suggestion of PlayOn. The Mrs has been hounding me to get a box up and running with this software!

That's where I first heard of it.
Remember guys there are 3 more parts to this. Playon will be mentioned briefly but as it stands right now I will only be covering Windows 7 as the OS.
