    Default Side Window

I am new to the world of modding, but after looking at the forums I am amazed at what you guys can turn things into and how nice they look. I need some suggestions on how to do a simple mod ,(I hope it's a simple one)
I want to add a side window to my boring case so I thought I could add a side window with some lighting but I need some idea's on how make the side window. I have an idea of how to cut it but I'm not quiet sure what to put over the hole.

Suggestions on how to do this would be great, thanks

If you have a dremel, this is what most modders use to cut out their window. use reinforced cut-off disks - they are strong and last much longer than standard cut-off disks. You will want to cover the hole with some acrylic - aka plexiglas, perspex, acrylite, plexi, etc. You can use that or polycarbonate, aka Lexan, which is available at your local home depot or lowes. It is easily cut, so you shouldn't have too many problems. You can even use glass if you would like. To mount it, use some silicon glue for permanent mounting or just use some foam mounting tape - every single thing mentioned in this post can be purchased at home depot or lowes.

Good luck, and welcome to the forums!!

All right, that doesn't sound to hard. Although I have one last question; I want to put a fan on the side window but I'm not sure how. Is there any way I can put the fan in with a grill without actually having to screw it in

Well, you could glue the fan grill to the actual fan, or to the outside of the case, provided that you wouldn't want to screw it in... some JB weld or some epoxy would do the trick, even super glue would work.

I'm not a fan of the gorilla glue, it expands too much and turns into bubbly mess. Albeit it does hold like a motha.
