You should take a pic of the hat just I can have a visual of just how much it is too big. I like the mod. It is funny. You should also get some pics of your mom's clown stuff when you give it to her.

I worked on the legs and feet. Here a thick threaded beam I used for the legs.

    All four cut.

I widened the holes on the bottom so they'd fit.

    The painted the legs yellow.

I attached them to the shoes and screwed them in.

this is gonna be really nice

your painting methods seem kinda messy to me though, you realize the cd drive covers will come off?

ill write a little tut for you

    1. on the front cover, there will be a little hole, stick a paper clip in, till the cranks turn, and the thing pops open.

    2. pull the drive all the way out.

    3. there should be some tabs holding the front cover on, pop those tabs on and slide it to the top.

    4. on my Lite-on drive, the front of the pop out tray slides off forwards (like its on rails) then itll all come off.

    5. pop those buttons out, and paint it.

    6. putting is back together is pretty obvious.

I used EL Wire for the window. I don't want to have too much lighting in this case.

The lighted dog looks almost like an old N64 3D render. It actually looks pretty cool.

I got some spacers, nuts and washers for the legs. I will use hot glue to apply the plastic coloring to the spacers.

Here's after some glue. I applied the glue to the spacers, gave them a couple seconds to cool then stuck on the plastic. This method prevented the plastic from melting when the glue was applied.

I then slid them on the threaded legs.

Lastly for the night I sprayed the nuts and washers red to match the case and to avoid them from sticking out so bad.

I'll put it all together tomorrow.
