    Default ga-890fx-udp5

i justbought this board. i got it open box idk if thats good or bad. seems to work fine. except i cant do anything with my cpu. the ratio should be in increments of .5 but its not. i have a phenom 2 720. its stable at 3.3 but if i do anything above that no matter what i change or anything i start getting blue screens. and my programs stop working right. so anyone have any idea what would cause this. my last board i could do increments of .5.

ps when i do get the board wants to be mean it gives me this error saying your oc setting are set in correctly. but if i just up the voltage its fine.but the softare issues come up. i even let prime 95 go for like 6 hours one night and it was fine with no errors.

also im jsut messing around now. to see where the limit is the raito isnt a big deal. but i just noticed according to cpu-z the bios voltage settings are off by about .12 im at 3.8 and in order to even boot into windows i had to set it to 1.5 even under the bios. but cpu-z is reporting 1.488v. what the hell is going on? my cpu vid is at 1.375 according to the bios. even under the power management its reporting 1.488 is something wrong with the overclocking section on this board?

I think I'd trust the motherboard over cpu-z. You can also check the voltages that your power supply is putting out with a multimeter.

If it boots, I'd say that the motherboard is probably fine.
