I wonder if it's because of a special type of filling or something? I remember buying cheap bean bags when I was younger and they totally sucked. They went flat within two weeks. I suppose the higher end bean bags don't do that because of their higher quality filling.
I wonder how much it would cost to just do it yourself? It can't be that difficult unless you don't know anything at all about sewing or cutting cloth so that it forms the correct shape. Then all you need is to fill it. That... just doesn't seem very difficult at all.
I've seen a youtube video about making your own beanbag chair but personally I'd rather have a professional bag than something I may mess up since I can't sew. lol
