Well, since the weather was semi-decent today, I did a bit of work today.

    Sanding....

    And PAINT!

    ACTION SHOT!

    And some "aftermath road rash"

Kudos to my brother for being the photographer!

I'm going to keep the plastics the "classy" beige color. But COMPLETELY color the metals.
Two years. They were great. Let's make the next ones even better!

Well, no pix, but I just got finished painting the shell and a few minor parts I missed the first go-around.

    Before:

    After...!:

Am going to do a little better cable management, but it's back in its proper home.

Ya know, I wanted to paint it in orange. Now I know what it would look like, without using ANY image manipulation!
Not that it was the shade of orange I'd go for....
But red goes WAY better with beige than orange! Good to know.
D_Stilgar, I've got my eyes peeled on you....

Well, I got my red LED fans in.

    One minor problem:

The holes are for 90MM fans.

    I got 80MM fans >_<

Shouldn't be too hard to fix, though.

But, it adds a NICE red glow.

What are you trying to say? Are you waiting for my mod to come? Spying my ancient work room with the case there?

I have a plan of action and I think I'll make it my sole project for summer. It will be inexpensive and awesome.

Drilled holes in the back fan bracket to adapt for the slightly smaller fans. Installed, snug and tight.
Adds a PERFECT (almost) glow to the case! Better than I had originally hoped!

It's too late tonight for pics, so I'll hit you guys up with them tomorrow. *yawn*
