I have this exact case that I've been wanting to mod for a while. Maybe this summer I'll finally do something with it . . .

Yeah, I saw it in the background of your NESPC WL.
FINALLY, I've got some competition!
When I get the money, I'm gonna get a can of spray.
Hmmmm... dark green.....
I think people will be surprised when I finally do the mod. It's going to be a bit of a throwback sleeper. The case is great by itself. Probably the best looking beige case there ever was, so I don't want to ruin that completely. Beige has moved out of being dated and it's now nostalgic.
Lol there is truth to this though , want a rare colour case & beige is it & imagine there might be a generation who haven't seen a beige case before lol .
I'm impressed by this older case, it has quite a lot of nice features, something I'm not used to seeing with older cases look forward to seeing what you do with this AmEv it looks a rare gem of a case tbh, the floppy at the back is a nice idea .
my 1st scratch case made july 2008 (finding my feet)
Air Cube prototype (fin jan 2009) (still finding my feet)
Air Cube v2 now with added cpc stack (fin aug 2010) (getting better)
Project Stealthlow (fin sep 2011) (much improvement)
Lean and Green - modular dual PC scratch build - Paused
Midlag Crisis
That's why I put it there. In the off chance I actually need to use it, but don't want to open the case up.
The main reason I want to paint it is because the front panel is no loger beige, but yellow.

Well, thanks to the generous donations of TGS and TBCS, this project has been
NECROED!
and had new life into it!
TGS's stuff is here.
It included:
A motherboard
RAM
A processor
A graphics card
The TBCS stuff isn't here. Yet.
It is:
A PSU
Well, I decided to be a bit risky, and use my current 300W PSU with all but my graphics card.
It booted up.
Installed Kubuntu.
Didn't get pix of that; camera was dead
Two cores in System Monitor.
Went to BIOS screen.
"Unlock Cores."
4 core goodness! Boo yah!
As promised...
Simple, yet elegant.
I like it.
Thanks!
Oh, not much, just a minor update, and my current desk layout...
