I love guitar projects!
Are you going to leave it flat black? Any thoughts on electronics?

yeah, i like the flat black, ill probably add some sort of graphic like a lindwyrm(bi-pedal dragon).
For now ill be putting in a pair of Red dragonfire screamer humbuckers, ill upgrade that when income tax time comes around and probably get a set of seymour duncan blackouts metal active pickups. then ill put the dragonfire pickups in an old series 10 guitar im fixing up.
also gonna put in a floyd rose tremolo. want to find a nice chromed one.
some nice grover tuning heads to go with it as well.
Grovers are the way to go. I've never been a fan of any locking trems, but then again I dont exactly play the sort of music that requires it. To each their own I guess.

pickups got here in the mail, heres a pic.
the body is from a schecter damien-6 FR.
im thinking seriously about saving to get a warmoth custom superwide neck. maybe maple neck with an ebony or maple fretboard, and jumbo frets.
really want a superwide neck though because i have big fingers and it would be easier for me to correctly fret chords.
Bump-de-bump.. updates?

too poor to buy parts, ill be getting the neck, probably at the end of january, or in february.
been working on my old series 10 guitar, but havent taken any pics of the progress there. gonna be cutting a new body for that one, once i get a bandsaw. noticed after sanding it down, it had some pretti vicious cracks running through it.
well, i actually ended up buying a new guitar, a jackson js32t kelly, so that body will go on the back burner until i can find a cheap neck.
i did however also buy a new body for my bentley guitar, so that will be taking over this thread just as soon as i have a chance to get it started after i finish my desk and my new pc build. the big thing will be sanding the horrible 1980s purple and black paint job. ill post a pic maybe tonight if i can remember to charge my camera battery.
