Default Flashing bios for gigabyte mobo

I'm gonna flash the bios of my mobo so I can get the "high power USB " ports for charging and make the c3 stepping work for when I upgrade my processor. I've never had to flash a bios before, so I was wondering how to do it...

It's usually pretty straightforward. You download and burn the iso as a bootable cd. Then I think you need to remove a jumper to able to flash on the gigabyte boards (check manual) and then you boot from the CD and follow the instructions. And replace the jumper again after that.

EDIT: I just remembered, you might want to write down your BIOS settings (unless you're rolling with 6x4gb RAM in your brain and can remember them all) because BIOS flashing can reset some settings, at least on my AMD board.

Watching someone else use your computer is like watching a drunk orangutan solve a rubix cube. They have no idea what they're doing and you just wish they'd hand you the damn thing so you can do it yourself.
