Here is my latest update on the work I did today.

I removed this motherboard backplate from an old case to use it with my mod.

    Dont like it? Modify it!

    Fitting test

Drilled some holes for the rivets. Yeah I know, a lot of them!

Tap and die set.... lets use it! ;P

In my plans I ... planned to use this Lian Li PSU "thing" instead of laser cut it on the back plate. So I can remove and insert the PSU easily.

Now the work I did on the middle floor of the case. I measured and then I used some clamps to hold that in place. For the people who wonder what that big hole is, I am going to attach a clear acrylic with a white cold cathode underneath to illuminate the top part. Many little surprises like that going to follow!

    Check, check 1,2 1,2

Rivets to hold that in place. One tip. Most of the rivets are going to be visible but some of them are going to be hidden underneath some acrylic parts I designed but I aint going to show yet ;P

And the final picture for today!!

I hope you like everyday updates, if everything is going on schedule (cross your fingers) I will update every day or every other!
    Till next update, peace guys!

Your case is coming together really nicely. Can't wait to see the acrylic pieces.

    Thanks buddy!

    Time for one more update.
Yesterday I didnt do much, I received a package from Aquatuning though
    with a lot of goodies..!

    3x 140mm and 7x 120mm Noiseblocker fans

    Some clear liquid

And a lot of modding goodies, mostly PSU connectors and screws

Due to 1mm "bending wrong" I couldn't fir the motherboard tray on the 20mm aluminum bar.
It interfered with the mobo's i/o plate so I had to cut it.

Here I mark for the card bracket holes to pass through the 20 mm aluminum bar.

    Cutting....

Removing the aluminum piece and filing

Countersunk process on the motherboard and its holder

    Long screws? No problem!

    Smaller screws!!

I couldnt work on the outside cause the wind was blowing (pr0n intended) really hard so I moved on the inside.... Tap and die...!

I also removed the rivets from the i/o plate and replaced them with screws.

    So far so good.

Thats it for today guys. Some notes though. There is a tiny space between the motherboard tray and the main floor. There is a reason

though. I have experienced a lot of "July bugs" with aluminum cases (hot weather - dilation - expansion) and with my original plans I

added some small features which I believe will help.

    Till next time guys, peace!
