It got bored of walking normally? Is anyone in the immediate vicinity singing "Skip to my Lou"?
Maybe it's just in a good mood today?
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.
Might be that your sound card is stressed for some reason and can't handle the playback. Are you running onboard audio or an add-in sound card?
Add in, i ran CHKDSK last night and am testing now, hasnt skipped yet, so i think there may have been some disk fragmentation from my someone holding the button down on the front of my computer till it shut down....

I was going to suggest a chkdsk and defrag.. I've seen that issue with video playback due to fragmentation.
