The 9800GTX+ is based on 55nm process vs. 65nm for the standard GTX. It also tended to come with higher core and shader clocks from the factory than the equivalent GTX. People have had success SLi'ing the two different cards from what I had read before.
Good deal for them if it is the GTX+. If it is the standard GTX I'd rather a used 8800GTX for those playing at high resolution, but still a powerful card for the price.
