audacity recording

My cousin is hosting an online radio station late at night. I want to record this to show my family. Using audacity I can't seem to selct the right output so it will record, It has my mic, MS sound mapper, and Line in. Tutorials say I need stereo mix??? What do I do?

Make sure your microphone isnt muted in your audio mixer (the windows mixer).

But don't I want it muted so it wont pick up any sound?

I think that the recent versions of audacity have changed actually. I tried to do this on my own, and didnt have the stereo mix option either.

I got a sound card that was supposed to come with audacity, but it didn't come with jack. I checked all the pertinent site and nada. Where did you guys get yours?
