Ok had to get the url from the source from this page, just so you know i could not see your pic thill i did that. To tell you the truth i have no idea what audio_vcc is or do, if anyone knows let us know.
Well in look at the pic of your MB, if your MB is a pass through kind.
    port1L
    port1R
    Are out.
    port2L
    port2R
Are the returns, but i am not sure!
What is the MB make and model? Maybee there is some thing more that would help if we could look at the manaul on the net.

Slatter I found the manual and i was right and wrong!
Right in the first post, wrong in the second one. This is after all Intel idea so the pin outs on my MB would be the same as yours. They just name it in a harder way is all. So if you look at my pin out next to yours, you will see the GRD and key is in the same place. So just the name are difearnt.
Here is your pinout from the manual.
Table 24. Front Panel Audio Connector
Pin Signal Name Pin Signal Name
    1 Port E [Port 1] Left Channel 2--- Ground
3 Port E [Port 1] Right Channel--- Presence# (dongle present)
    5 Port F [Port 2] Right Channel 6 Port E --[Port 1] Sense return
    (jack detection)
    7 Port E [Port 1] and-- Port F [Port 2]
    Sense send (jack detection)
    8 Key
    9 Port F [Port 2] Left Channel --10 Port F [Port 2] Sense return
    (jack detection)
Now the easyer way to read it in the{} .
    1 {Mic}Port E [Port 1] Left Channel 2--- Ground
    3{Mic power} Port E [Port 1] Right Channel--- Presence# (dongle present)
    5 {Right AD out}Port F [Port 2] Right Channel 6 Port E --{Right AD in}[Port 1] Sense return
    (jack detection)
    7 Port E [Port 1] and-- Port F [Port 2]
    Sense send (jack detection)
    8 Key
    9 {left ad out}Port F [Port 2] Left Channel --{left Ad in}10 Port F [Port 2] Sense return
    (jack detection)
So they just make it harder to read is all. I will post a pic of the two pinouts next to each other, later but right now the puter with the ftp programe is being moded. By the way in your sig, do i read that you made some ducts? If so post about it i am trying to do some of that.

The m/b is Intel 915GAV with the 915G chipset. I have already looked through the manuial, it doesn't say anything about how to connect it. They just assumed that we would have a ready made header cluster to plug onto the headers.
