    Good news! I'm not dead! Today being warm we were able to get the donor truck in the shop. Got that lifted up, drained the coolant and oil. Also got the converter unbolted. Tomorrow it will be time to pull the motor.

    Haha. You could have. I wouldn't have minded. Honestly it is all done to timing, and weather. Finally things are aligning enough to get some work done.

    I just got done doing my volkswagen, little bit more aggressive cam, lifters, if I sold it I could go pick up a scottsdale deluxe on 38s running a 454.. oh man if gas mileage wasn't a factor the volkswagen would be gone so fast.

    I got a perfectly good 454 I'm not using for the same reason.


    Good news! We got the mill out today. So tomorrow I'll be putting it on the engine stand and start tearing down. I'll have pictures tomorrow! I don't think porn is allowed, but Small Block Chevy nudes are worth the ban!

    Here we go. Today I got the mill up on the stand, and pulled some junk off of it. Intake, heads, and oil pan go next.

    I've got a 6.2l diesel on my stand right now. 350 4 bolt on a cradle under the workbench.

    Cool. I'm not a huge fan of the 6.2 though. Now if I could find a 6.5 I'd be ecstatic. But if I go diesel down the road I am going to try to find a wrecked Dodge to get myself a 5.9 Cummins. Or if I could find it, and afford it (Haha...) a 8v92 Detroit. Just because those things are down right insane. Although shoe horning that in to the truck could prove interesting...
