    Default question about riser cards

If i were to use a Pci-e x1 to x4 lane riser card would a pci-e x4 card (i'd be using a raid card) still work in the slot at a reduced speed? or would it not work?

Any help would be appreciated i haven't been able to find ANY information on it so far...

Yes, it should still work. The speed might not even be reduced.
