I've thought that a few times while reading throughout his website. Don't forget about the previous posts link at the bottom of the page! This is some seriously interesting reading material. He's a pretty good photographer too, which definitely improves the reading experience.
I just spent the past hour reading some of his "adventures". Taking a break now, but I can't wait to get back into it! This is great stuff!

Saw a video of a kid that did that with bullet trains in Europe. He had terminal cancer and wanted to live the last months of his life doing whatever. He chose to surf bullet trains.
