Oh that How We Did It section is a hoot. Now I understand they need to bring the mod to a level in which they can sell and warranty the drive, but the paragraphs of "We are the champions" is a little thick for me. I am dissapointed in the minimal view port they put in, with 2 years and gaseous analysis one would think they could get the whole top clear... In the end though it is pretty cool, though a little behind the times and overly priced. It's amazing another hard drive company did not come out with a clear drive sooner. And leave it up to the first one to make it the top of their line in the category so they think they can charge a arm and a leg for 150 gigs.

I wonder why they didn't just use transparent aluminum....
They would... but its taking years to work out the intricacies of the matrix... Hello computer. How quaint.
yeah the port is kinda small --They left out the internal activity light..would have been slick in a choice of colors to see the platter light up

Now they've done it....We'll have to buy these things and mod an aluminum plate in there over the window...or maybe a bit of modding mesh....anything so's it's not stock...
Only after I win the lottery, ummm at that price I'd have to win it twice!

Buy one and Etch you name into the Acrylic so people know who's computer the HD belongs to.
They are going to be on the high end of the scale and I hope more follow with the windows. Makes it so we dont have to do it our self.
