If I have a PC with XP (no services packs), how do I use my XP disk (w/SP2) to just install the SP's?

Just download them off the MS website.
Coffee is love, coffee is life.
Yeah.. downloading the offline installers is easiest. Then just burn them to disks, and you are done and can use them over and over on other machines.

this was to a direct problem we had today, we did end up getting it taken care of. were pretty sure there is a way to do it from an existing disk but dunno how. had someone who didnt even have sp1 on a xp rig today!
I've got my install disk's all slipstreamed now, so now more downloading service packs for me.

im sure you just run the installer and update/upgrade the OS, it shouldn't ask for a key if its the same version/build
other than that just download the SP3 offline installer, much easier
I booted off my Xp disk with SP2 and told it to repair Windows. It then installed SP1 and SP2
