    Default VM Ware License?

I need VMWare for some article research and development. Anyone have a spare license they wouldn't mind letting me borrow for a little while?

Do they? I checked out the site and only saw paid versions.

There is VMWare Player that is free, but I don't believe you can create VM's with the player. It is only for running pre-configured VM's or VM Appliances.

A 30 Day Trial is available for VMWorkstation.

Also there is VMWare Server that is a free product as well. It will allow you to create VM's and runs on most lower end hardware (aka Server Hardware not required).

Guess I need to find a second mobo and processor. I would use my file server but it gets used too much and too often for me to take down.

One, use VMware Server. If you are only running 1 VM your computer should hold up fine with a dual core and 2GB of RAM. All of the engineer's at work have VMware Server for test environments and development projects, and it runs fine on all of our Dell computers.

Also, if you need any help with it let me know. The only reason I'm not VMware certified is because the certification classes cost about a grand a piece, lol.
I would really like my Thermaltake prizes... Thanks everyone for my wonderful prizes!
