Looks like you can only use it on a Windows Vista based machine, looks like I will be doing some serious backing up lol. The good thing is it lasts to August 1st, 2009.

but i can confirm the last build i had running under a VM (Sun Java Sand Box running under Linux 2.6 ran sweet with 768 ram and 1 core at 2.2GHz)

I noticed that too. right now I'm getting the 6519 build from piratebay just in case it doesn't come back up on Microsoft's site.

I am interested on seeing how it runs. Over at Bit-Tech we have a Jetway C7 that is water cooled, encased in CF and will be running Windows 7 lol. Hopefully I can get myself a copy.

EDIT: I found a blog with instructions to get a Windows 7 BETA Key, and they no longer work, Microsoft has PHYSICALLY removed the sites so it goes to Windows Live Search. The most amusing thing is.... I think Microsoft.com is experiencing an accidental DDOS due to people wanting to try out Windows 7!
