And the streets were NEVER safe again....
Grats dude
My first car. 1966 Chevy Impala. Original 283 small block chevy under the hood. That thing could fit a small mexican family. Scored it for $900. Let go a couple of years later because I couldn't afford to restore it like I had originally planned.
Congrats on your first car. Mine was a 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic that I got for $100. The engine had a spun bearing in it and I drove it like that for 6 months before I swapped the engine. I miss that car.
Very Cool hearing about some of your guys first cars.

My first car was a 1968 Chevy C10 pickup. It actually belonged to my dad but I was the only one who drove it. The first car I paid for was a 1988 Plymouth Reliant. $800. That one was fun till I went to have the front end worked on and found it was splitting right down the middle between front and back seats and the shop refused to put it back on the road.
$500 for a 1984 VW Rabbit which required an additional $250 worth of parts to make the transmission work. The little car ran well for another 100,000 miles.
