    its crap for gaming though...

its a 3d editor card and only good for rendering 3d graphics, hence its price tag.

    Psh, it's only a 5600, I've got a 9600GT, and my girlfriend is even running a 7300GS. Upgrade newb.
I would really like my Thermaltake prizes... Thanks everyone for my wonderful prizes!

I use a FX5600 in my workstation at work. And yes, they are a nice card. but it has some driver issues.

With 128 bit colour precision, thats like the next generation after HD (super HD if I remember).

Can you imagine the power it would draw in a triple SLI setup?

Who would even think of running it on windows 2000. I think XP professional is a minimum for high end equipment.

Not necessarily. Win2k is fairly old for an OS, but it contains the bare essentials. Newer versions of Windows are filled with winky, blinky, slightly annoying, shiny, transparent features that "clog the arteries" of the computer. Windows 2000 also has the greatest number of service packs (on 5 now, I believe?) and is very stable.
