Default Turning on PSU w/out mobo

I am putting together a couple cases that will be similar in specs but different in design. I want to test out the different lighting setups for the case and get the case all set-up before I add the mobo, CPU, cards, etc, etc. I was wondering if there was a way to turn the PSU on and off just by itself without a mobo to test lights and wires?

the PSU i'm using is the Antec Phantom 500

    thanks!

just short the green wire with a ground wire (any black wire) and you'll have power.

    good luck!

The little light is a good visual indicator of whether it's on or not too. It's always best to connect all your components you want to test with the power off and then apply power.

I put an LED fan in my test psu so that I could look at it at tell if it was on or not. Just an idea.
