Silverstone LC14 HTPC Case

Does anyone here have, or have access to one of the Silverstone LC14 HTPC Cases? Basically what I need to know is, is the tinted perspex front panel the same on the LC14 as it is on the LC14-M - I want to use a different VFD and IR receiver than the one silverstone provides, and would rather not pay for a VFD unit I'm not going to use. I need to know if the VFD will be visible through the perspex on the LC14 the way it is on the LC14-M or if the perspex is completely solid....

I know this is an OLD topic, but I found a couple other forums with the same question on it and had a couple emails about it. As I have long since bought one, I can now answer my own question. As long as you don't mind building some kind of custom mount for it, you can put any VFD into a non -M LC14 - the perspex on the front IS semi-transparent - it's just tinted....
