Default Silverstone Raven: Ultimate PC Case

More pictures and info can be found over here.

Yeah, thats right, the mother faces upwards. It makes sense too, see why in the article. Every single feature about this case is badass, plus it even looks like a stealth plane...

Not bad case, lots of plastic tho. I like the 90 degree rotation of the mobo to point it towards the top but is there enough space at the bottom to actually pull air from?

I like it, but my only issue with it is the fact the top of the case is open. Too many times have I been called to fix someones system because they spilled something into it. That and the fact cable management outside the box now becomes more of an issue.

For enthusiasts I don't see an issue.
For the normal person, this case does not make sense.

I like the design. Hate how the cables come out the top of the case. It should plug into a bracket at the top which feeds the cables out the back.

I dunno I like it: the connectors are easy to access and the connectors still go out the back...

If the cables didn't go out the top, it'd be a hella sweet case. The style is a little too epic for my taste, but it's still cool.

That is EXACTLY what this design does??? Unless I am imagining the triangular bracket at the back of the top slide cover ... the one that the cables are fed through ... to the back?

I love this case. It makes great sense. Much easier for peripheral plugging etc and all covered up when the top is closed.

    Crazy

This is a great idea, probably not for the average home user. But a power user like a gamer should love this case. having the I/O on top always for easier access to all the ports so someone could quickly change the system configuration. Or if you're like me and have 10 USB and only 2 in the front it is a pain to crawl under my desk to unplug stuff like my external HD which I do want portable.

On a side note when brainstorming for Project Highrise I had though of having the mainboard face up (for a better fit and I/O access) but was worried about airflow issue.

Thats the cool thing about this case, it has great airflow because of heat rising...
