    and i would go for a q6600... they are falling in price as i remember dou to the new q9xxx series...

    samsung drives have a reputation for failing though

    heres a P35-based motherboard that would be nice for a budget build by gigabyte

    and a PNY 9600gt as the xfx is out of stock (i know they arent xfx, but they offer a 6 year warranty when you register the card)

    Nice build - with the tweaks peeps have suggested and you've taken on board.

    You know what gets me though. This same build would come out at about £600 if bought in the UK: i.e around $1,200. You guys have such an advantage when it comes to buying crap. It would be cheaper for me to fly across the Atlantic to NY for a weekend and pick this stuff up than get a bus to my local high street to buy it.
