    once work picks up i will be ordering a cpu setup similar to the one i suggested for you and i think i will be mounting the rad the same as the pic, at the back of the case, will just have to get some threaded rod. if i have mine before you get yours i will post pics on how i did it and results hopefully i will see a 10C drop.

    Mounting the rad on the top of the case would work but you wouldn't be able to draw any air from the inside of the case, the PSU is in the way. You would still need to have the rad raised up a bit with the fans outside the case.

    thats the way i planned originally but i've had 2 fans mess up on my in a horizontal position so i am gonna through it on the back.

    yea i would but I find it would be easier to have it horizontal because my case is right up against my wall anyways.

    well i just fell into $5700 via life insurance (something about dividends?) my parents got me when i was a baby : so i'm gonna make one last decision and potentially order some water cooling tonight.
