hey guys, as the title says, anyone know where I can get 1/4" copper tubing for cheap? Right now I'm looking at 1.50 a foot from the local hardware store, and that's a bit expensive since I need like 20 feet of it.
Any pointers would be good.

Are you looking at the pre-bent stuff or straight pipe? $1.50 a foot seems a tad bit high.
Quick google search found these guys [URL="http://www.coppertubingsales.com/copper_tubing_prices.php"]coppertubingsales.com//URL]
They sell in rolls standard roll is 50' but it's only $30.07 (no details on Shipping costs) But it works out to about $0.60 a foot. This is for Refrigeration type (1/4" is OD... Outside diameter) K type is more expensive (1/4" is ID or Inside Diameter).....K type is $64 for 60' or $1.06 afoot.... Prices all before shipping.
Good luck!
Hope this helps,

Yeah copper is not cheap any more... hence the rise in copper theft of copper wires from house installations... I would probably say that $1.50 is on the high end but not outrageous. Hardware stores are notoriously over-priced, look for a plumping supply in your local area, that will cut down on shipping quite a bit.
I'm looking for straight stuff that I can bend =P
I'm running water through it to cool down my room. I have 15 ft of it so far, but more would help the heat transfer, more surface area etc. But ya, Ace Hardware was selling it for like 1.47 a foot, I bought an ice maker installation kit at 15 for $15.
I'll keep looking thanks, but ya that link looks promising so far.
