My Temps are constantly at 39*C.
That isn't anything to worry about.

Ah paranoia.... it goes away after the first few things blow up for no apparent reason.

btw, 39c isn't lower, but it's not either either. Is there a fan moving air over them?

most drives have a limit of 48c but even still on that temp they will run fine.
39c is a really nice temp for a HD.

i would just point a fan at them/it. i have 4 hdd's and the highest temp is on the oldest at 36C. i wouldn't worry about it to much, like i said though if you can add a fan or get some kind of air movement across it then it should help.

They don't like it too hot either. Too cold will cause lubrication problems for the bearings on startup, too hot and the platters will actually warp (I'd know I've had it happen to me twice ). 39C is the upper end of what I'd ever allow my drives to sustain (now), and I prefer to keep them between 36C and 30C (which with a cheap aluminum cooler and a little are flow is possible with a 7200RPM drive).
