    Default riveting acrylic

is it safe to rivet a "sandwich together" where there are 3 layers, the two outside layers are metal (one steel, other aluminum) and acrylic in the middle.

I was thinking of the acrylic being 1/4"

I've done it before with a case window this way. only thing is don't over tighten the rivets or the plex will crack! (also know that from experiance!)
