    Default Motherboard and Video Card...

Hey, I am thinking about getting this new MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130136

Aswell as the EVGA 8800 GT Superclocked. I only worried that because of the cards length it will come in contact with the copper heat pipe. What do you think?

I have that exact board, great choice. I have a HIS Radeon HD 3850 on mine, which is probably just as big as an 8800. There isn't much clearance but there is at least a few mm of clearance. The card will fit fine, on the board.

Here is a pic of my system:

If you look at bottom left part of the photo you can see the top of my card and the heatpipes.

Oh and just to let you know, that board is setup for Crossfire X which is for ATi cards. A nVidia card will work fine on the board you just can't run two together in SLi.

it will clear it, they would make sure of that. and this picture you can see that if you make a line from the pci slot you can see it will just make it. even if it doesn't you can always bend the heatpipe a little and be fine. but i highly doubt you will have to.
