At the uni one of my friends goes to, there's an item called 'budget lunch' on the menu... Consisting of a bowl of rice with soy sauce for $1.

On the first night I moved to my dad's house we had a tasty nutritious meal of rice, boiled carrots and soy sauce! Needless to say, I soon took over the cooking duties.

Actually my current 'budget' dish is half a cup of rice (rinsed), 3 quarters of a cup of water and once the rice is cooked, add 1 and a half table spoons of butter, some salt, pepper and some lemon pepper. It's actually not bad and is a decent meal.

A quick look into my situation. I'm 16, working at McDonalds. It doesn't get much broker than that. If only I could find a good job...
