Hey, thats the one I just bought Bought it at Lowe's tho, and it was $89. Came with the flex shaft and all. Found it in an isle nowhere near the rest of the dremel's. Like a box display thingy. I havn't had a chance to mess with it much tho, kinda confusing. I'm really looking forward to tearing into some aluminum with it

It works great, but can go through the cutting discs pretty fast, especisally if they're not the reinforced ones.

I have to admit it does gobble them up pretty fast. That may have something to do with rotation speed, but I haven't bothered to look at the recommended speeds for different applications, just set it on 10 and go.

not only are they 10X cheaper than other places (home depot) they are 1.5" so they cut more.

Make sure you get the ones with the 1/16" center hole and not the 1/8" hole if you use a Dremel.

Just picked up a Craftsman 61139 for $60 (45 bucks since we decided to Get A Credit Card That We'll Cancel After A Year) and love it so far, I generally have it at second-fastest for cutting and middle-speed for detail work (when I need to stick the wheel somewhere it's in danger of breaking, since I've shattered two standard wheels in the line of duty).

So, since y'all know more about 'em than I do, are the reinforced wheels just as fragile, or do they just last longer?

the reinforced wheels ar MUCH better/safer than the reg ones. Mostly its a skill level kind of thing as long as you dont twist/force the dremel while cutting the reg cutoff wheels shouldnt explode.

I would recommend a full face shield as well.
