Default Sound sides in headset mixed up

Well, I recently noticed that when sound is supposed to come out of the right side of my headset, it comes out of the left, and vice versa. The cause could be crossed wires from when I had to solder it to fix it. I don't really feel like messing with the wires though. Is there anything I can do to switch the sides? Like, some sort of setting or something?

Most audio applications (ie soundmixer, audiorack) have an option to "reverse stereo". That will sort it out for you.

Try wearing them the other way round?

Cut the cable that goes to the computer and just rewire them. Not much soldering going on and all that.

I beg to differ...wearing them backwards will insure you hear sound direction corrently and, as an added bonus, look like Data from Startrek. It's a win win situation from my POV.

    Minus the red glow?!

Put some red LEDs on there!
Come on man, you're a modder!

Seriously, though, check the wiring from when you fixed it.
If you don't want to do that then, as Luke said, there's normally an option to reverse stereo.
