Ask me why were here on earth. The only answer I can give is 42, and a whole bunch of ones that i reject. :/

    Edit:

Jim and his older brother kept fighting. Their mother got tired of the fighting and arguments and decided to punish them. She decided to punish them by making them stand on the same piece of newspaper in a way that they could NOT touch each other. How did she accomplish this?

How did the detective know Max was lying?

How did the detective know Max was lying?
    1. It was a cold and/or rainy day. Max said it was hot.
    2. It was Sunday and the bank was shut. Max said he was in line.
    3. The old man was in a wheelchair and had no legs with which to kick.
    4. There was some sort of construction or repairs being done to the pavement on the other side of the road, so Max's friend could not have been there.
    5. May 30 is 'International Max is Lying Day'.

    Baug, you got it.

    Edit:
I'm a riddle in nine syllables,
    An elephant, a ponderous house,
A melon strolling on two tendrils
O red fruit, Ivory, fine timber!
The loaf's big with it's yeasty rising
Money's new minted in this fat purse.
    I'm a means, a stage, a cow in calf.
I've eaten a bag of green apples
Boarded the train there's no getting off.
