Aww what the crap. CoD4 was? I would've thought Crysis would be for the awesome engine, how fun it was, etc. How odd.

Shooter of the Year is my favorite game (basically)!

I mean, Crysis is cool and all (from what I saw in the demo), but I wasn't a fan of FarCry at all (Remember the ship that you board that's like half sunk pretty early on? Yeah. I stopped there), whereas I'm a huge fan of the CoD series.

Infinity Ward took all the good singleplayer elements of CoD1-3 and made them better, then threw in worthwhile multiplayer (CoD4's multiplayer is like what CS's multiplayer was SUPPOSED TO be. A good, tactical shooter that's realistic and fun), topping it all off with a good engine and wonderful graphics.

Hmm, no wonder it won.

I remember it. But Crysis is not FarCry! It is entirely different, very imaginative, and the gameplay just totally kicks ass. Crysis is about 12 times better than FarCry at least.

Well, that and I'm not a big fan of modern based shooters. Or WWII anymore. Not to start an argument or anything...

I've been CoD3'ing it up for the last few nights.. hella good fun. I love me some WW2 action.
