Burn from networked computer

why not make a quick and dirty web page that has the file linked in it and then download it to your everyday computer and then burn as usual.

I think Mal answered that question here.. although, it would probably be easier in the short term.

I've got an ISO I really want to burn (Slackware.. looks interesting) but I don't want to transfer over 3.5GB to my hard drive and have it waste perfectly good space.

Samba can be kind of tricky, but it has alot of REAL world value.

Well, I THINK I setup Samba, but I can't add it as a Network Connection (if that's what I'm supposed to be doing). I have my username/password setup, but whenever I type \\csserver\andy in the Network Connection Dialog, I get a message about it not being a place or something. I have my /root folder in the Shared Folders thing on Xubuntu with it's type as SMB.

Did I do it wrong?

Never mind, I got it to mount (if that's what you call it). However, Windows thinks it's a NTFS drive, which it most certainly is not, and I can't see into it now. It's just, empty.

Just saying I figured it out. It was actually just me being dumb... I mapped the wrong folder! I got it all set now, thanks again for all the help.
