Default Track IR, has anybody played with one?

Have any of you messed with one of these?

I'm thinking this is going to be my next purchase as soon as I can scrounge up some cash. I'm a FlightSim X junkie.

    Here's a linky to NewEgg.com it's around 200$ and has great reviews.

Holy Crap that is cool, Oh baby can you imagine that thing with tripe 30" widescreens? *drools on keyboard

-This really belongs in the tech talk area though, not reviews, I'll slide it over there.

<3 Fs2004, although i do have a new card now so maybe an FSX install is in order. These are really good, although if you find them a bit expensive i know there are a few free versions available on the internet. They may not be as smooth as Track IR but if you dont have £100 to spend it's a good alternative. Oh and hi, liking the forums ;]

edit. One more thing with Track IR is that you have to use the 3d cockpit, on MS Flight sims anyway, which may struggle on lower end systems.

I just got one of these. I had to hock some of my stuff on ebay to find the cash. I'm a flight sim junkie.

It's really cool. It's definitely worth the money. It took about an hour to get the feel of it. The biggest thing I figured out was sit back in your chair. When you get real close to the screen it acts up a little.

What's really cool is it works in any game that has a mouse look function i.e. BF2 and BF 2142 my favorites.
