molex connectors and cable

ive been looking to buy some molex connectors and the wire to go with it
so i can make my own custom length molex power leads,
thought they would be easy to find on ebay or google no luck though,
any links would be apreciated

Depends on what connector you want. If you want to build your own 4 pin HD/CD/DVD power cable, you can find the connectors at frozencpu.com. The rest of them can be hard to find.

thx Airbozo but im in the UK and i woulda thought it was easy enough to find standard
4 pin molex connectors for cd/dvd drives here,
they probably are and im just rubbish with google

Try Jameco. They supply all shapes and sizes of molex. You do have to purchase teh pins seperately, but it gives you the flexability to choose what you want .

Look in either computer products or interconnectors. I have been having good luck with everything I have ordered from them so far.

calumc after another look i did find them at maplin, my original serch for 'molex connector' only came up with the UV ones.
got to admit i was suprised at the price i woulda thought these things would cost pence not £1.09 for one
and ive so far only been able to find one person on ebay that sells them and they sell the plastic housing and the pins seperatly !!

ive bought 5 for now but i still need to find the cable for them but not getting anywhere
not sure what the cable is called or what rating ect i should be looking at
